Memory File Format provider

Overview

This file format does not store a measurement file to disk, but keeps it in memory. This will only work for storage of files with limited size (a few megabytes).

Details

Description

Use the memory file for temporary storage of data, for example in a situation where the user should decide whether to use a recording or not after the recording has finished.

You as application designer need to take care that the memory file will never become too big. How many bytes the file can be at maximum is difficult to predict, because that depends on the computer hardware and operating system.
